Since joining the Borelli Investment Company team in 2004, Chris has contributed his expertise in the areas of brokerage, land entitlement, land development, and project management — drawn from more than four decades of experience in residential real estate development.
Among the development projects in which he has played a significant role are:
• Market Park San Jose — A $3 billion, 120-acre transit-oriented development (TOD) community in North San Jose, with up to 4,400 residential units, 1.5 million sq. ft. of office space and a 100,000 sq. ft. retail center, plus ground-level retail — all conveniently located adjacent to BART’s Berryessa station
• Bay 101 Technology Place — A 16-acre mixed-use development along the Highway 101 corridor near Mineta San José International Airport, anchored by the highly successful, $100 million Bay 101 Casino and including an upscale 174-room Embassy Suites by Hilton hotel and at least one other business-class hotel, plus a five-level parking garage
Chris has lived his entire life in the Santa Clara Valley, growing up in Willow Glen and Saratoga. He received his degree from the University of California, Berkeley. He’s married, has two grown children, and in his free time, loves to hunt and fish.
